Daniel L. Paulson – President/CEO
A native of New York City, Dan Paulson graduated from Boston University, with Honors, receiving a B.A. He continued his education and obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
Dan began his career in the entertainment industry with NBC where he worked as an executive in the Business Affairs Department. Following his time at NBC, he began a freelance career. After producing television commercials and industrial films, Dan joined 20th Century Fox as a story editor and was eventually promoted to Production Executive. Dan remained with Fox until he formed his own production company, Daniel L. Paulson Productions.
Under the banner of his newly formed company, Dan developed, packaged, and produced over 40 television and theatrical films. Out of his 40 productions, over half have received notable accolades such as Academy Award Nominations, Emmys, DGA Awards, SAG Awards, WGA Awards, and Golden Globe nominations. Dan has personally received an Emmy nomination, two Christopher Awards, and he won the prestigious Humanitas Award twice. Through his body of work, Dan has always strived to produce content that make a difference, and inspire others towards achieving a better world.
Dan has become highly respected member of the entertainment community due to the quality of the work he puts forth. He continuously strives for excellence in all of his endeavors in order to uphold the reputation he has built around his name and his company.
Steve Kennedy – Director of Administration
Steve Kennedy got his start in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles as a researcher for BONANNO: A GODFATHER’S STORY. Kennedy then transitioned in to an ongoing role at Showtime Networks under the aegis of Daniel L. Paulson Productions working on development, production and financing of movies and mini-series. Upon Dan Paulson’s departure from Showtime, Kennedy remained loyal and was promoted to running the DLPP Los Angeles office where he oversees all aspects of the business and currently serves as an Associate Producer for the hit series SWEET MAGNOLIAS.
