Synopsis:

The cockpit of a Boeing 747 is struck by lightning during takeoff for a flight to Europe, fatally injuring the flight crew. They determine that the autopilot can bring the plane in for a landing, but soon learn that the autopilot is locking onto the transponders of airfields at random, including signals from small airports with runways too short to accommodate the jumbo jet. Meanwhile, federal officials on the ground who have lost radio contact with the jet debate whether the plane should be shot down to prevent a more disastrous crash in a heavily populated area.

Synopsis:

A hit song is the inspiration for this movie. In 1948, an aspiring songwriter, Tony Starr (Barry Manilow), is working as a pianist in a bar. He meets Lola Lamar (Annette O’Toole) who wants to make it in show business and is immediately smitten with the beautiful woman. At Manhattan’s Copacabana lounge they both start finding fame, however, fate steps in. Lola is swept to Havana to work in a splashy night club act where she is convinced she will find her stardom. Instead she finds Rico Castelli (Joseph Bologna), a suave gangster who manages the club.

Synopsis:

Hollis drew her Wish and Want, a family. Hollis had that family in the Regan’s, but fear of attachment and emotional turmoil caused her to run away. As Josie’s forgetfulness grows worse, Hollis is forced into the role of caretaker. Through her artwork and her care of Josie, Hollis Woods finds her family.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Before stalking was a well-known crime in North America, there was Theresa Saldana’s story. A drifter from the U.K., Arthur Jackson (Philip English), flies to the U.S. to seek Saldana out. His twisted mission: to murder Saldana, then request the death sentence for himself so he “could join her in paradise”. The psychopathic Jackson confronts Saldana on the street in front of her home, and stabs her violently several times. No one comes to Theresa’s aid except water deliveryman Jeff Fenn (Kenneth Phillips), who overpowers Jackson and gets the knife away from him. Jackson is arrested and charged with attempted murder and Theresa Saldana tells her story of terror and survival as herself in this TV movie.
