Daniel L. Paulson Productions (DLPP) was founded in 1994 by respected Hollywood producer Dan Paulson. DLPP developed out of Dan’s personal dream to create film and television content which could make a difference in the world, and inspire others through storytelling. Since its formation, DLPP has created over 40 television and theatrical films, and television series, of which 22 have received awards and nominations, including Academy Award Nominations, Emmy Awards, DGA Awards, SAG Awards, WGA Awards, and Golden Globe Award Nominations. For his work, Dan has personally received the prestigious Humanitas Award, and the Christopher Award, as well as an Emmy nomination.
Over his career, Dan has developed, packaged, and produced a number of films and series for ABC, CBS, Disney Channel, The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, NBC, Showtime, TBS, TNT, TriStar, and Warner Bros. DLPP also was an in-house production company for Showtime, producing 9 films for the network in 10 years.
During his career, Dan has worked with top Hollywood talent for his films including, Johnny Cash, Judy Davis, Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Jodie Foster, Dennis Hopper, Martin Landau, Debbie Reynolds, Wesley Snipes, Sissy Spacek, and Alfre Woodard.
DLPP produced six seasons of its multi-generational hit family drama CHESAPEAKE SHORES for The Hallmark Channel. The series stars Robert Buckley, Meghan Ory, Diane Ladd, and Treat Williams and has been Hallmark’s highest-rated series since 2016.
Currently, DLPP is producing the fourth season of SWEET MAGNOLIAS for Netflix.
